What is a Classic Car
Here in Spain the government identify a "Historic vehicle" as a vehicle more than 30 years old (previously 25). Generally, most European countries have a similar description for classic cars. The common theme is of an older car of historical interest that is collectible and tends to be restored rather than scrapped. Classic cars are generally defined as "collector cars" manufactured before 1990 and post-World War II. A Modern Classic is a vehicle that is considered collectible regardless of age.

1974 Classic Mini Refurbishment
Our client wanted to spruce up her old mini and make it more usable on modern roads. To give her the desired effect we stage 2 ported the cylinder head and added a higher flow stage 1 inlet manifold and exhaust system with a larger HIF44 carburettor. After the engine upgrades we improved the braking by upgrading from a single ports master cylinder to a dual port system with brake bias to separated out the braking between the front and rear brakes. We refreshed the suspension by installing a new HiLo adjustable suspension kit with modern shock absorbers and new suspension bushes. Finally we reformed the engine bay, inner arches and the fuel tank to really make the old mini look great.
